Booktube-a-thon 2017: TBR

THE TIME IS HERE (well, the time will be here on the 24th July – 30th July)

Even though I’m as busy as I was last year (except this time with a job, and a well timed boyfriend birthday BBQ), I’m still buzzing to dive head first into a ridiculous TBR pile and read as much as I can possibly muster!

For those who don’t know, the concept of the Book-tube-athon is simple. Created by @ArielBissett on Youtube, the challenge is to read 7 books in 7 days. This week long readathon is also filled with twitter sprints, Instagram competitions, and the infamous book challenges.

This years book-tube-athon 2017 Reading Challenges:

  • Read a Book with a person on the cover
  • Read a hyped book
  • Finish a book in one day
  • Read about a character that’s very different to you
  • Read a whole book outdoors
  • Read a book you bought because of the cover
  • Read seven books

These are my choices for the year! They are 100% likely to change as the week develops and it becomes evident that even the idea of attempting to read 7 books in 7 days is ridiculous. Nevertheless, I’m going to spend the whole week with my nose in a book at every single opportunity I possibly can.

It’s so enjoyable to see the whole online book community come together in one week of madness. This is probably going to be the most cliché thing I’ll ever say, but it really is the taking part and sharing what you’re reading each day that really makes it! It’s like Nanowrimo but for reading instead and I love every minute of it!

If you’re taking part (which you definitely should), what are you planning on reading?
